The major projects/schemes which have been entrusted and undertaken by GAD(A) at present are as follows:-
- Construction of Deputy Commissioners Office buildings and residential quarters for the newly
created Districts at
Mawkyrwat, Ampati, Resubelpara and Khliehriat which have been completed and handed over.
- Construction of Sub-Divisional Office buildings of Pynursla Civil Sub-Division, Raksamgre Civil
Sub-Division and
Chokpot Civil Sub-Division have been taken up recently and except for the two Civil Sub-Division
at Garo Hills, which
are yet to be started, the work for Pynursla Civil Sub-Division is in good progress.
- Construction of Integrated Office Building at Ladthalaboh, Jowai has been recently started.
- Construction of GAD Composite Residential complexes at Resubelpara and Ampati, of which the
Residential Complex at
Resubelpara is in good progress.
In addition to the above, renovation and repairing of Meghalaya Houses outside the State in the metropolitan Cities viz.
New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Vellore & Guwahati are being taken up for providing accommodation facilities to VIPs,
Government Officials, Patients and Students
